You probably have heard that growing as an independent artist has always been... Well, difficult.
Right now I'm coming back to doing commissions for people over on social media, and it's so hard to just get like two or three people to work with me. Even though the tools for getting your artworks out there have doubled in the amount and possible good outcome, it's exactly the same for all other artists who try to do the same and market their own works - art, music or writing.
Sometimes I get really overwhelmed and intimidated by all the other talented people and start thinking bad of my own works, feeling like they're not good enough and won't ever be needed by anyone...😔
Obviously, these bad thoughts are a temporary malice your brain tricks you into taking seriously, but coping with them all the time can be very discouraging. I think you too sometimes struggle with comparing yourself to others in that sense, so I just want you to feel that we're all there from time to time and letting it out with another person can make you feel better 💫

When thinking of slavic countries and their people's food preferences many believe that we only eat borsch, lots of meat and potatoes, "babushka's pirojki" and drink vodka and russian tea. That's honestly an incredibly amusing image of us, makes us look all stoic, serious and a bit gangsta. 😎
But living here you realise that this image is only a funny stereotype!
Walking along downtown streets of any city here anyone immediately notices the sheer amount of Asian cuisine restaurants - that's probably the most popular choice for a weekend meal at a restaurant for young people here. We absolutely adore Asian food here and choose it over anything else (except pizza, probably). Spicy ramen is forever in my heart (and stomach!) 🥰🍜

I have such passionate love for this game (around 11000 hours in-game... yeah 🫣) and it's world and I want to give it back to the community that celebrates and cares for it as much as I do 🤍

I don't usually actually sweat when I'm drawing (unlike before, when I used to put so much pressure on the pencil that I couldn't erase it later at all haha), but this day was just SO hot 🫠
The sun heats up my flat from dusk until dawn because it faces my walls all day long, gets really steamy in here... I wish I could just teleport to a sandy beach and chill in the fresh air... Preferably with a handsome man with a good sense of humour, but that'd be a luxury 🤭

Painting really makes me forget that the world is imperfect, everything becomes so clear - the air, the skies, the wonderful trees and flowers. I fully put myself into the process and try to capture the moment as good as I can.
My art teachers always told me that a master artist can paint the air on the canvas - then the painting truly becomes lifelike. I think I only managed to do it twice in my life, it's really really hard!!

I just can't live without occasional escapes into the calmness of nature 🌳
Especially now, when flowers are blooming and birds sing such marvellous songs, I't be a crime to stay at home and miss this beauty (really want to paint at least a little peace of it)!
I sometimes struggle going outside for long and forgetting myself even for a moment because it feels like I'm just being lazy and wasting time doing that.
But a little walk in the woods can bring you so much joy and soothe your mind - trust me!
