My landlord called me today and told me my ex gave notice on the house (it didn't need to be done until March, and I was planning to talk to him sooner about staying if I could afford it). He also said my ex recommended renovating the house and renting for more, as well as providing research and recommendations for renovation companies, something my ex has no expertise or contacts in... he planned this. The landlord decided to do it, because may ex laid out a plan for him to get $1000 more a month. I was hoping I'd be able to make just enough to stay, but now it's not even an option. So, I'm mostly trying not to panic right now, but I'm going to try to get it together... I've had a lot I've wanted to do on here, so I'll try to get started with that this evening instead of putting it off until tomorrow again.
