Appearance, what role does it play in our relationships? There is an opinion that in order to find a true friend or life partner one should not pay attention to the external data of a person, because in the first place his soul is important. I agree with this statement, but nevertheless in life we still often attach importance to appearance.
 
I am interested in psychology and therefore I like to watch various scientific programs on this theme. Sometimes in some of them the question of human beauty is raised and even experiments on this topic are conducted. In such researches it is said that people with a pleasant appearance arouse more sympathy in us, we are inclined to trust them and ascribe certain positive qualities to them.
 
Indeed, more than once I have caught myself thinking that the person I think is pretty at first seems more pleasant to me than the person with mediocre facial features. This opinion is often reversed later, but all the same: you are greeted by your clothes and seen by your brains.
 
Appearance is also a kind of "dress" of a person. And, for some reason, initially it is very important for us, and there is nothing we can do about it. It is unpleasant for me when people around me pay attention only to my physical data, not interested in what I have inside. This causes a feeling of insecurity and provokes various complexes.
 
At the same time, I think that people with perfect looks also have a hard life. Many of them have to prove to everyone that they are not just a "pretty face", but something of themselves.
 
So, whatever the appearance of the person, it always creates some obstacles in his way of life, but it can also help him to achieve something. But still, the main thing is our inner world.
