








it’s a pretty surreal time to be in the LA area right now. I feel incredibly blessed to be in an area that’s currently safe from the fires, but my heart is breaking for everyone whose lives have been impacted.
it’s heavy on the heart seeing photos/videos from the devastation, but it’s even more chilling knowing that’s happening just miles away from where I’m sitting right now. I’m not a resident of california (yet), but this place became a second home to me so quickly. I think of the sadness and fear that I feel and can’t even begin to imagine what the families and people who have lived here for years upon years are feeling.
these fires serve as a reminder that we can’t take what we have for granted. everything can change before we know it
