Added 2025-06-15 14:04:39 +0000 UTCThis is the reason I have these accounts. Sounds weird, I know, but this little guy and his brother, whom I won't show, were thrown out of a pickup truck yesterday and unfortunately his brother was struck by the trailer, and didnt make it.
This little guy was lucky enough to tumble and get on his feet long enough to run out of the road. My friend witnessed all of this as she was leaving work. She called me immediately and we picked him up and took him to the emergency vet.
The vet said he was lucky and didnt break any bones or have internal injuriesbut his tummy was filled with worms and he had a lot of fleas(common with animals we rescue). He is foing well tonight with us but he has a long journey ahead. We will be caring for him until he can find his forever home.
