More like awkwardly doggy-paddled toward it, screamed once, and retreated to the pool like a wet cat 🐒But listen… I tried!Started in the hotel pool like a proper beginner, goggles on, kicking like my life depended on it (it kinda did). Felt like a queen doing laps… until a 6-year-old swam past me doing butterfly and I re-evaluated everything 👽Next day I put on my bright red Baywatch bikini. Manifesting lifeguard energy 💋But also… hoping someone would rescue me if things went south. Spoiler: no one did. Except one confused crab who thought I was moving in 🦀 I floated like a sexy starfish for 10 minutes. Then a wave slapped me like I owed it money and I humbly crawled out. Still counts as swimming, right?Right?? Anyway proud of myself. Half-swimming, full-slaying.
